Respimat Inhaler

The Respimat inhaler delivers the drug as a soft mist without a propellant.

Respimat®

Aerosol spray exits inhaler more slowly and for longer duration allowing for a higher level of medication getting in to the lung and less in the oesophagus. This means lower doses of medication can be used.

There are currently only 2 inhalers in this format.

These are Spiolto Respimat (Tiotropium plus Olodaterol = LAMA + LABA) and Spiriva Respimat (Tiotropium = LAMA)
